Minibuses and Coaches (Buses)

Please let me know if you are coming in a minibus or coach so that I can allow enough parking for them?

Without it I may need to send extra coaches/minibuses to the nearest suitable parking several miles away once they've dropped their runners (inconvenient for all round!)

Course Update

I've been out checking the courses today.  Pretty wet, mainly surface water but no deep, sucking mud!  Very suitable for studded fell shoes.  There is hard pack, so spikes won't be suitable.  The wet rocks can be slippery, as one unfortunate found herself bottom first in a stream...  Low down the grass is ...lush at the moment, so runners will need to lift their feet in places.  Low down there are some ruts due to livestock, so best to get out there and check what it's like early on.

I'll be marking out the routes from Saturday morning.  The landowner is happy to allow us on the fell from then on.  Please respect his wishes that he doesn't want large numbers disturbing his livestock till the race weekend.
